Board Restricted Fund Over the years, due to the overwhelming success of our fund-raising efforts, we have been able to raise sums of money in excess of our annual goals. The extra funds have been placed in a Board Restricted Fund, where the interest earned on these assets can be used to provide additional support for children's causes that desperately need it. In the past, Board Restricted Fund proceeds have been used to buy new playground equipment for Reid Park, to aid in basic medical research through the Ara Parseghian Medical Research Foundation, and to support the services provided by the Arizona Foundation for Burns and Trauma, among other things.
