Along
with the traditional academic program, San Xavier Mission School stresses
Native American culture and language. San Xavier serves primarily,
but not exclusively, the Native American Community. The entire
school is extremely crowded with three of the classrooms having double
grades. In
2000, Angel Charity funded San Xavier for $400,000
for the expansion and
renovation of their 152 year old
school. Each grade is to have its own classroom, thus improving the learning
experience and academics for the children. |
