Posted 5:13 PM 4/11/2012 : Fashion event to benefit Angel Charity for Children

TUCSON – The ultimate shopping experience is quickly approaching – a time when you can get designer dresses, handbags, and shoes for a fraction of the cost, and all the money goes to charity!

It’s Angel Charity’s “Bags, Baubles and Ball Gowns” event, and it is happening on April 26th & 28th.

The items are all donated, and they are all fabulous.

The event chair, Kim Kimbriel, stopped by the News 4 Tucson studios today to talk about the event. She tells us that Sharon Stone donated one of her dresses for this year’s event.

Some of the beneficiaries of this years’ event include Angel Charity’s Family Services, which will  receive $613,754 to build a shelter for homeless children, and Tucson Nursery Schools, which will receive $241,441 to pay off its mortgage and create scholarships for those in need of assistance.
